What a fun, albeit small, tournament!

 

In the Open section, Alexander defeated his first four opponents in a row, and found himself paired up in the final round with ... TRAVIS.  Travis won the final game and took second place for the Over 900 crowd.  Alexander was third.  Good job, guys, in a field with some very good competition!

 

We had five players in the Under 1000 section.

 

David came away undefeated and co-champion with 4.5 points!  On tiebreaks, he took third place overall.

 

Jenna took third place in the 7th-8th grades, while Joseph took fifth.  Christi won a grade level trophy for fifth grade, playing against mostly 7th and 8th graders.  Elizabeth had a little tougher time and received a participation medal.

 

We are proud of them all :-).
